Sans Words

Sans a single word
within the voluminous corpus of epic poetry,
their unrevealed meaning
would still flourish beyond the capacity
of endless rows of bookshelves.

Gaze silently, for
One quiet candle
can consume a thousand suns…
And be blown out
by a single pair of lips.
