About the Writer

AS OF OCTOBER 2015, MOST OF THE POEMS AND PROSE ON THIS SITE HAS BEEN SIGNIFICANTLY EDITED AND UPDATED AND SUBMITTED FOR PUBLISHING IN TWO FORTHCOMING BOOKS:

A Sparrow Who Ate the Universe:  100 pounds of poems in a 1 pound book

Twenty-Five Words Toward Truth (#25wtT) – a book of ~200 poemettes, each exactly 25 words in length.

The books contain a large amount of new material, I will post some soon.

As for me….

I’m just another seeker.  Nothing else.  Nothing.

This writing thing has been going on since I was 10 years old.  Several decades later, within this literary detritus, you may uncover more about me and yourself through my poetry, essays, vignettes, and various deep journeys and soul work.

Please, let’s create collaboratively and speak with deep listening.  Come artists, writers, thinkers, dialecticians, mystics.

Some say, I under-live my words.  For me, words are not of the heart, nor the mind, but a bridge between.  They are metaphors of unfathomable nameless secrets in the heart and approximations of what the mind sees.

There is no God, but God.

Thank you for sharing, and doing your Work. I’ve enjoyed your shining bits of soul peering out from the pages. I also seek myself in the DC area; it’s an interesting place to be journeying.

I write often, but I don’t post online. I’ve thought about starting a blog many times. Additionally, I write poetry, some of which has been published and some I’ve read at public forums at times (such as Busboys & Poets). I seek knowledge of Self so that I may know Others (though “otherness” is really an illusion), Beauty, and Love through my writing explorations… but most of all I seek Truth, and she’s seductively elusive 🙂
